This is for converting a windows based iTunes installation into Apple Mac OS X
1. On your new computer, set your iTunes Library to be that of your mapped drive.
2. On your new computer, close iTunes, then delete your 'iTunes Music Library.xml' and 'iTunes Library.it' files.
3. Replace these files with the good versions from your old computer.
4. Open iTunes and wala! Your iTunes Library should rebuild like magic.
